Intercom is most commonly used feature of the
PBX. The user can use intercom as and when required
to communicate between other extension users and
access numbers are 2-digits starting from 30 to
45 depending on the configuration.

Transfer
Call Transfer is another most commonly used feature
of the PBX. Any internal or external call received/originated
at any extension can be transferred from that
extension to any other extension.

Consult
Any external call received/originated at any extension
can be transferred from that extension to the
other extension user before getting that user's
consent for that call is the Call Consult feature
which allow the executive user to get only those
screened calls which executive user wants to answer.

If another extension is ringing, this feature
allows the user to receive that call at user's

Pick-up Group
In a office setup many more departments are located
in same area or PBX extensions are installed at
far distant locations from each other, extensions
can be grouped for call pick-up. This is useful
when in case of two extensions are ringing simultaneously
in two different groups, the right call can be

user. There can be ten groups in a system.

Group

It is also possible to access trunk lines directly
by dialing the trunk numbers as per the selected

3-Party
The PBX user can have conference of 3-Party including
user, this can be between two external & user

Camp-on
While on call transfer if user gets busy tone,
user can still transfer the call on the busy extension
by camping on the call on busy extension and get
freed his or her extension. In camping the busy
extension gets internal tone and the transferred
call gets parked on it.

In case the extension desires to become free temporarily
to attend to some important function, using this
feature makes the extension free without losing
the further calls. This feature also helps the
receiving extension to park (hold) the call in

Hot Outward Dialing is used when user wants to
bypass system dial tone and always wants external
trunk line on lifting the receiver.

Automatic
Callback
If the called extension is busy, this feature
automatically connects, as soon as the called
extension gets free. The same is the case when
called extension does not reply, this feature
automatically connects, as that extension user
lifts receiver once. The same thing is applicable
in case on trunk access and the trunk is busy
but in this case if user doesn't respond in three
rings, the auto callback on Trunk gets cancelled.

this feature allows the extension to prevent itself

The feature allows an extension user to receive

Flash
Time Settable
The features of your PBX requires, the use of
a Hook Flash (HF). This is performed by tapping
the hook switch of your extension for a period
of less than Flash time programmed for that extension.
Some telephone instruments have a built in electronic
flash key. This Hook Flash time is to be programmed
for each extension individually as per the Instrument
Flash Time or Users normal usage of cradle switch.

Barge-in
Level Based
The Barge-in is a feature, using which executive
user can enter into conversation of other extensions
depending on the levels of the extensions as explained
below.
Barge-in has four Levels, Normal, Executive-1/2
and Fax/Data Extensions. The system don't have
Call Privacy as barge-in is Level based.
Level-0 can't Barge-in to anybody but can be barged-in
by Level-1 & 2.
Level-1 can barge-in to level-0 without tone &
level-1 with tone, can't to Level-2 & 3.
Level-2 can barge-in to level-0 & 1 without
tone & level-2 with tone, can't to Level-3.
Level-3 Can not Barge-in to anybody and can not
be barged-in, reserved for Data & Fax extensions.

Ring
When ever extension users with a barge-in level
two dials other extensions their ring to that
extensions will have two long and a short cadence.

Personnel
Memory
Some station users may have their own set of telephone
numbers that they dial regularly. Such stations
can be programmed to memorize up to ten telephone
numbers, which they dial regularly. Whenever the
user wants to call any of these numbers he only
has to dial the appropriate three-digit code (790-799).

DISA
Restriction
This feature is used when DISA (Direct inward
Station access) is activated on the trunk line
and user does not want calls without screening
to their extensions. This is useful for executive
users when they do not want any calls directly
landing on their extensions. This is also used
to prevent misuse of DISA facility by general
staff members to receive personnel phones without
acknowledgement of superiors or operator.

Walk-in class of service enables user to make
any outgoing calls as per user's class of service
or access executive features from any extension,
which is not entitled for the same.

Auto
Call Disconnection
This feature is incorporated to limit the extension
user for the time of talks on trunk lines for
both incoming and outgoing calls, with twin beeps
before the time limit is reached. The time out
duration can be programmed for an extension from
01 to 99 minutes the beeps will precede 10 seconds
ahead of the timeout.

Timer Beep
This is same as auto call disconnection feature
but the external call does not gets disconnected
when time out limit is reached. This is to aware
the extension user for the time of talks on trunk
lines for both incoming and outgoing calls, the

Caller-ID from trunk service provider is passed
on to extension in DTMF format to extension to

Redial (*V)
Auto Redial is a very important feature required
by the user, as in multi service provider the
cross network connectivity is difficult to get
through in couple of tries in peak hours. The
PBX will try the dialed number for 30 times with
a gap of 15 seconds in between try. When ring
back tone is received the ring is given to extension
along with CLI.

/ Night Mode
The system can Operated in Day Mode or Night Mode.
In Day Mode the Incoming Call Rings in sequential
mode at the extensions while in Night mode the
incoming call rings simultaneously to many extensions.
The call restriction can be different in both

STD calls can be programmed to ring at different
extensions.

Day / Night Mode
This feature enables user to operate the system
in both day and night modes for different programmed
timing for entire week. By programming this timings
user need not have to manually change the operation
of the system. This is useful when executives
attends office for longer duration than office

Lunch time can also be programmed within this
timings.

Trunk
Grouping
The trunks can be programmed for four different
modes of operation for making outside calls. These
are '0' group, '9' group, Direct Access only and
Reserved Incoming only. This is useful to reserve
one or two of the CO lines as reserved lines and
couple of lines for only incoming lines. The Trunk
kept for direct access are not accessible by '0'
or '9' access and direct access can also be individually
given to individual extension.

Waiting on P & T
The PBX System can insert Flash on P & T line
while extension user is conversing on Trunk. This
feature can be used for picking up call waiting
call on Trunk and can also be used when one of
the extension of bigger PBX is connected to Trunk

Trunk is also required to trace and register Malicious
Calls at service provider's telephone exchange.

Memory
DOSA
Direct Outward Station Access (DOSA) is used by
the user when user wants to make long distance
calls using Office Lines. This is password protected
and DISA should be activated on at least one line.
The user can dial to office first and after dialing
password preceded by extension number, user can
dial any of the memory number. The System will
seize another line and dial that number and user
gets connected to that memory number.

Programming

Homing
The Fax Homing feature avoids dedication of one
telephone line for fax reception as the system
automatically detects fax tone for voice guidance

calls can be entertained. Maximum two extension
can be designed for fax reception but b using
